These 3 hotels are within 10 min walk from venue.
The More has a boutique feel.
    Scandic is classic 4*.
The Mill is the more affordable of the bunch.

  • Transportation

    Bikes
Do what the residents of Malmö do – cycle! With Malmobybike it's easy to get around Malmö. You have the option a ticket for one or three days. It’s a fantastic way of experiencing Malmö. The whole area is extremely flat.

    Bus
There are eight main city-centre bus lines they provide a fast and reliable alternative to walking. Most of the main bus lines converge at the Central Station – handy if you’re arriving into town and need to reach a hotel somewhere in the suburbs.
You can plan inner-city and regional journeys on the Skanetrafiken website. It’s available in English (click ‘translate’ in the top right-hand corner), though some details always seem to show up in Swedish.

    Electric Scooter
You can also rent an electric scooter everywhere in the city, with for example Voi and Tier.

  • Shop

    APLACE (Fashion)
    Davidshallsgatan 14, 211 45 Malmö
The best place for contemporary Scandi fashion.

    Bolero + Rundgång Records
    Kristianstadsgatan 14, 214 23 Malmö
Very good and varied selection, especially second hand. Fair prices!

  • Eat closeby (cafe/lunch)

Jalla Jalla (fast and cheap falafel)
    Bergsgatan 16, 211 54 Malmö
Reliably good falafels wraps, you know the drill. But where else can you eat well for under 5 Euros? A mere stone’s throw from Inkonst, and it’s open late, too. Just one block further down from Jalla Jalla is Möllans Falafel, and debate rages over who does it better.

    Scandwich (open-faced sandwiches)
    Kristianstadsgatan 7B, 214 23 Malmö
Perhaps open-faced sandwiches are more Norwegian, but this place does a great version of that. You get a meat, vegan, and vegetarian choice only.

    400Grader (Italian)
    Södra Skolgatan 33, 214 20 Malmö
Around the corner from Inkonst and a block away from the More Hotel, 400 Grader isn’t fancy or nouveau but it is quality Italian food. Weekday lunch is an all you can eat buffet, but only until 13:30 (Swedes eat lunch early!).

    Bageri Leve (bakery/patisserie)
    Östra Rönneholmsvägen 6, 211 47 Malmö
Fika is both noun and verb in Swedish, and it’s basically coffee and cake. Prinsesstårtor is a Swedish favorite, or Swedish chocolate balls, or semlor (like a cream puff), or cinnamon buns. This is an independent, local favorite with plenty of vegan options.

    Art of Spices (Indian)
    Bergsgatan 15A, 211 54 Malmö
There are quite a few Indian restaurants around Möllevången, and most have lunch specials, but this one is the Inkonst favorite.

    SMAK (lunch until 17h)
    S:t Johannesgatan 7, 211 46 Malmö
At the Malmö Art Gallery, an 8 min walk from Inkonst, just past Triangeln station. Only 3 choices a day (meat, fish, and vegetarian), but they’re all very good. And the Konsthall (art gallery) is free and worth a visit, too.

    Farina (bakery)
    Kristianstadsgatan 8, 214 23 Malmö
Looking for sourdough bread, a nice croissant, or a pizza by the slice? Look no further than two blocks from Inkonst.

    Köld (ice cream)
    Friisgatan 14, 211 46 Malmö
I’ve seen lots of fancy ice cream shops, but never gorgonzola cheese ice cream. But don’t hold me to that if the menu has changed (which it does, regularly). You’ll pass it on your way to Inkonst from Triangeln station.

    Kaffebaren på Möllan (café)
    Ystadsgatan 9, 214 24 Malmö
Local coffee place and melting pot. Institution by now.

    Solde (café)
    Regementsgatan 2, 211 42 Malmö
Great coffee and baked goods. A bit up town. Also close to Lilla kafferosteriet which is more spacious

  • Eat closeby (dinner)

    SOI29 (Thai)
    Bergsgatan 29, 211 53 Malmö
Literally next door to Inkonst is an excellent (but pricey) Thai restaurant. Reservations recommended.

Gamle Nobes Bodega (homey Swedish pub) Kristianstadsgatan 36, 214 35 Malmö
Part traditional Swedish, part homey comfort food, part local hang-out bar (called “bodegas” in this part of the world), plus burgers. There’s also Casual Street Food, if you like burgers.

    Lyran (“fine” Scandi dining)
    Simrishamnsgatan 36A, 214 35 Malmö
Definitely one of the best in the city, at surprisingly affordable prices. Needs to be booked months in advance.

Metro (Classic a la carte + bar)
    Ängelholmsgatan 14, 214 22 Malmö
A Malmö staple. Good for late dinner and drinks. Very close to Inkonst.

    Opopoppa (Pizza by the slice)
    Simrishamnsgatan 3, 214 23 Malmö
Excellent pizza sold by the slice. Cozy and friendly place. Good drinks selection.

    Restaurang Möllan (pub)
    Bergsgatan 37C, 214 35 Malmö
A local institution – one of the few OG Möllevången places still around. A former historical ölkafé (litteraly beer café), a city sponsored place for manual workers (only men) to spend their money drinking beer during days off.

    Family Pub (pub)
    Nobelvägen 52, 214 33 Malmö
Cheap beer place filled with a wide variety of local oddballs, skaters, etc. Across the street Rex which is basically the same but bigger

    Bullen (traditional Swedish)
    Storgatan 35, 211 41 Malmö
If you’re looking for a slightly fancier, old-fashioned, traditional Swedish experience for either lunch or dinner, Bullen is only about a 12 minute walk from Inkonst.

  • Sights

    Malmö city center
A short walk from Inkonst, you can find buildings dating from the 1500s, along with all sorts of shopping, restaurants, etc. If it’s within the moat, it’s the city center.

    Kungsparken (park)
One of the nicest parks in a city filled with nice parks. There's also a nice little cafe/restaurant close to the castle, Malmöhus Slott.

    Folkets Park
The closest park to Inkonst, and – with its theme park feel – a public space/activities wonder, especially for children.

    The beach
Quite huge sand beach, very nice walk. Dogs are welcome off leash!

    Ribersborgs Kallbadhus (sauna)
    Limhamnsvägen, Brygga 1, 217 59 Malmö
An “accidentally Wes Anderson” scene at the end of a pier by the sea, saunas here are cheap (this one is 85kr / approx 7.50 euros, more if you need to rent a towel), and this one is lovely. The cold dip is the sea!
Nude, segregated men/womens sections with two mixed saunas. They also have a cafe/restaurant, that’s separate from the sauna.

    Moderna Museet (modern art museum)
    Ola Billgrens plats 2-4, 211 29 Malmö
Close to the city center, and less than a 20 min walk from Inkonst.

    Malmö Konsthall (Free entry)
    S:t Johannesgatan 7, 205 80 Malmö
The Malmö art hall - situated in a beautiful brutalist building – exhibits a wide range of international artists during the course of the year. Their bookshop is also great and moderately priced.

  • Drinks/Groceries

    Systembolaget
Sweden has a state monopoly on selling alcohol. Meaning that you have to buy everything over 3.5% ABV in one of these shops (alcohol can of course also be bought but strictly consumed in bars/restaurants). Opening hours Mon-Fri 10-19, Sat 10-15, Sun Closed
    -Closest one to Inkonst:
    Södra Förstadsgatan 50 B, 211 43 Malmö
    -Best one in town:
    Malmborgsgatan 6, 211 38 Malmö

    Mitt Möllan
    Claesgatan 8, 214 26 Malmö
Local ‘alternative mall’ with food court, second hand shops, arts & craft shops, etc.

    Möllans Ost
    Bergsgatan 32, 214 24 Malmö
Local cheese monger. Worth a visit if you’re into that.

    Möllevångstorget daily market
Market with vegetables, flowers, eggs etc at cheap prices. Daily between 8-15 at the Möllevång square.

  • Camping

    First Camp
    Strandgatan 101, 216 11 Limhamn
Close to the beach but a bit far away from Inkonst. Prices vary, but a tent pitch without electricity will run you about 240 sek for 1 night (1p). There are also camper, caravan, and cabin options.

    Lomma Camping
    Södra Västkustvägen 114, 234 34 Lomma
Also close to the beach and also far away from Inkonst. Tent site with electricity for one night/one person is 240 sek.

    For Caravans:
    Småbåtshamnen i Limhamn
    Vågbrytarvägen, 216 12 Limhamn
Maybe you’ve worked out by now that Limhamn is not very close to Inkonst, but if you’ve got a caravan, you’ve got wheels.
